Preferred sources
Salary.fit prioritizes primary sources such as U.S. government agencies, regulators, official program administrators, recognized exchanges, employers, banks, insurers, and original data publishers. Secondary sources may be used for context when the underlying facts can be verified.
Time-sensitive information
Rates, prices, deadlines, eligibility rules, laws, job status, and product terms must include a source and an as-of date whenever available. Users are encouraged to confirm the latest information on the original source before acting.
Feeds and syndication
Feed cards may include a title, limited excerpt, image, source name, and publication time. Full articles are not imported unless the publisher explicitly permits reuse. Feed items are treated as syndicated updates and are not included in the sitemap.
Unsupported claims
We do not publish fabricated statistics, fake prices, invented testimonials, or unverified guarantees. When reliable information is unavailable, the page should state the limitation rather than guess.
